So on Tuesday I slipped and whacked my shin on the tub.

For those of you playing along at home, this is really similar to the May 2005 injury. Okay, same injury, different leg, not quite as severe.

The result, I'm walking with a cane until my leg and ankle decide to behave, stop swelling and function properly.

I've also decided I'm not accident prone; I'm gravitationally prone.

So I'm on the bus, with my cane, and my priority seating pass, and a bag of groceries on the ground in front of me and a man gets on the bus and demands my seat. The other 5 empty priority seats were unacceptable, he wanted mine. I offered him the seat next to me and across from me, but this was unacceptable. I'm sitting there, with my cane and groceries and he wants me to move. I really wish I knew what the problem is with some of these people. I eventually moved after close to 2 minutes of him insisting he needed my seat.

*a cane is not a weapon*

They don't make much sense to me either

The only thing that I can assume is that he wanted the seat next to a pole where he could also see out the front of the bus. Not that he said anything other than "Give me that seat"
