I'm just waiting for someone to assume my primary partner is a woman. I am bisexual (though I don't think of myself categorically), but my primary partner happens to be a man, and I think that will go a long way to making people understand their own prejudices. I will never point it out, since I don't think my own orientation is any indication of how capable I am of doing my job.
I don't think of myself as bisexual either, more like pansexual (that way I include people of any gender identity) but for simplicity's sake I say bi.
I'm pleased that you are on the Board of Directors because I think you will do good for PTS especially with your sensitivity and acceptance towards any kind of 'reasonable' self-identification.
