hmm . . . I don't know you (unless you count by way of Zenten) but those are astounding books. I haven't ever heard of the last one, but Left Hand of Darkness is one of my all time favorites. And i'm simply astounded that another human beings knows what Day of the Triffids is (I had the crappy movie version when I was younger . . it was bad, but hte book is OK).
