I went out after class last night despite my extreme tiredness.

I woke up at 6am to clean out my kitchen to have a new counter and cupboards installed and then left for work around 7:30am. I got off of work at 5pm and went to class at 5:30pm. I stayed in class until 8:30pm and then remembered this poster I had seen for "Fireball Burlesque meets Rockabilly". Why not?

The Astrobillys opened up for Big John Bates.

Scaroline played a proper upright bass. She was hot.

I had never been exposed to much Rockabilly, but it was great, or maybe I was just distracted by two women onstage doing a shimmy wearing nothing on their chest but a cowboy hat. Of course, it could just be me.
Dirty nurse costumes, vinyl dresses, crinolins, kitty costumes and Hawaiian gear rounded out some of the other costumes. Then there was the fire. Yes boys and girls, the "Voodoo Dollz" ran fire down their skin as they danced the hooch.

Who wouldn't love it.

I got home around 12:30am to a beautiful hald finsihed kichen and went to bed.
