So the government is taking another 2-3 weeks to renew my contract because of the budget freezes. I should go in under the pretense of leaving medication in my desk and just clear out.

I have a job at Pride in the summer if I want it. It pays less, but it pays on time.

I really want this job tomorrow. Of course, if I get the job, can I still go to burning man?

salary paid jobs usually entail a vacation of 2 weeks. if this means that we can't do the uber road-trip, then that's fine. we'll just go sraight there.

I'll take unpaid vacation if I have to. I can't see a reason why I couldn't get the time off if I ask for it like my 2nd ay at work.

Some places are funny like that, especialy if other people are taking vacation at that time who have more seniority.

Believe me, I know how it works, and the last week in August is prime vacation time
