I'm suddenly reminded of why I hate throwing parties. I have the nagging fear that no one will come, so this entire Drag Show on February 9th is really bothering me, even though I have an emcee, 3 judges, one former queen, 3 drag kings, 4 drag queens and various other people really hyped about the event... I'm still afraid no one will come to watch.
February 9, 8pm, UCU 216 at the University of Ottawa.
In other news my glasses came in, so after 8 solid weeks of wearing nothing but contact lenses, my potentially horrid looking glasses are available. I've never had any taste when it came to eyewear and I should have really taken a buddy with me, but I was so sick of wearing glasses I fixed with electrical tape, I don't think i cared what they looked like.
I'm also wondering who for sure is coming to help me out on Saturday to paint and what time you feel like showing up. Remember, no skill required and it is not something that could possibly damage the friendship in the longrun.
