Random Update

Today I made Black Bean Soup... definite winner. It's a soup and a tortilla dip all at the same time. 

We all fee like we might be coming down with something over here. Here's to crossing our fingers and hoping it misses us. I think James really enjoyed his weekend overall. Lots of activities and fun. Unfortunately, there was also some kleptomania (pezchica, gabriel_le, somehow one of the playdoh people ended up in the diaper bag... will return on next visit).

We also got some good deals on a few toys for James, like a doll. I also didn't quite clue in until I got home that the packaging is very pink... do they even make dolls for boys? Anyhow, he has one now, and that should be enough, although I'm tempted to permanently lose the epilepsy inducing bottle that came with it. 

I've also been playing Opoona, which I borrowed from the library, and I very much enjoy it. There's sand weasels, and a dog name G-Bone that rides on a hoverboard. It's all so very right and wrong at the same time. I can't wait until I can take it out again.

lol, no worries on the playdoh person. I hope you're all feeling well and not getting anything. It was lovely to see you, and my heart just about burst out of my chest when I saw how happy Kayla was to see "baby James". Thank you again!

We definitely want to continue kiddie playdates. Josh also wants to get to know all of you better so I think he'd be interested in coming along on a future trip.
