Christmas has been pretty fun. James has made off like a bandit. We now need bookshelves to house his ever-growing children's library. He is enjoying his new toys and books. I also enjoyed one of my books during my 8-hour emergency room trip yesterday after I slipped on the ice, and despite hearing crackly-pop coming from my knee, all appears to be intact, just painful.
Time with the family has been pretty good, and hopefully I'll be able to drive back tomorrow.
Here's to hoping
Merry Christmas

I talked to Lianna yesterday and she needs her coat. :(
Maybe we can work something out to get it from your mom?

Ouchie!
Glad to hear that Christmas went well for you all, in spite of the crackly-pop knee, and you'll be bringing home some fat lewtz.
G and I just got home a few hours ago today, and I am sooo happy (as is our ebil kitteh) to be home right now! Family is awesome, but home is even awesomer.

The second fruitcake is more like a traditional fruitcake when compared to the first. A very delicious, would absolutely purchase in the future fruitcake. And I need to give you some $$ the next time I see you because she refuses to accept that much tasty fruitcake for free. She does however prefer (only slightly) the first fruitcake.
I believe both recipes are keepers.

It seems to be unanimous that these two recipes are very tasty and worth repeating, so I'll file them away for next Christmas, and very likely for my biz.
