I'm so sick
My lupus is in flare and I have a cold that is threatening to turn into pneumonia and I'm not able to take a sick day. Parents don't get sick days. Seriously, if I end up in the hospital, we don't have a game plan. I'm not allowed to check in with my baby; Josh can't afford to take 1-4 weeks off of work while I'm laid up. Responsibility blows.
In better news, James had his first swimming lesson yesterday. We're going to need a different technique for dunking him because he took a lungful of water. Despite that, by the end he was kicking and looking like he was having fun flailing in the water. He gets a look of sheer determination on his face when he's trying to learn something new and interesting, and it looks like swimming is going to be one of those things.

And the part that fucking pisses me off the worst is that even though I have medical benefits, I have to submit first to my plan (which has a deductible and will not do direct whatever with the pharmacy) and then I have to submit to zenten's plan. This month I was certainly not expecting to have to shell out money for steroids for the iritis (2 bottles and counting - $30 each), ointment for the iritis ($20), dilation drops for the iritis($30), ointment for James' pink eye ($20), drops for my pink eye ($35), last line antibiotics for my chest infection ($50) and a steroid inhaler ($30).
I can safely say I'm screwed for rent
Edit: zenten's mom is helping us out until the insurance claim comes back. THANK YOU!!
