I rarely open my credit card statements because I check everything online, but for filing, I eventually open them up to recycle the envelope.

Today I discovered that I'm included in a class action lawsuit as I meet a very bizarre set of criteria.

I wonder how much money I can get for charging $50 to my credit card in Greece in 2001?

It's obviously contingint on the lawsuit being successful, but potentially, yeah, free money

I wasn't aware that charging money to your credit card in Greece was actionable...unless of course it wasn't you who charged it...

The suit relates to incurring debits or credits on a consumer TD Visa related to foreign currency transactions prior to September 1, 2001 as they were allegedly unauthorized.

I just took it as a given that I would get nailed with some extra fee, but I really wanted to go on the excursion to Ephesus, but I guess, since they hadn't outlined how they were going to gouge me, I'm now involved in a Class Action suit, where the lawyers get paid only if they win.

I just wanted to let you know that I was the one who honked at you while you were on your walk this evening.
