zenten got me a new computer for Christmas.

It said XP on the box.

It's running Vista.

I'm wondering if she's going to have to upgrade to XP, especially since it only has 1 gig of ram (which Vista seems to think is 827 Megs or some such stupid number).

Yeah, either a 1-step upgrade to XP or a 2-step upgrade to Ubuntu would do the trick.
