I'm really not sure how I'm going to make it through the next month.

I totally know I've never hit a limit I couldn't figure out how to manage, but I swear to myself time and time again that I won't let my schedule hit critical mass. I fail.

I think most of my problem is that I usually end up with things that only I can do, or things that will take me 3 times longer to explain to someone else than if I were to do it myself. I think I may make Josh write all the Christmas cards.

It also hurts, but I really have to tell friends in my life right now that I am not available to help them and for once, I need help. We'll see if this thins the herd.

The only thing that I can readily think of that I will need help with, and won't need to spend eternity explaining it is packing in January, and painting in late January or early February. I understand completely that neither of these activities would be your forte.

This is a typically God awful time for people who like to have schedules anyways. Nothing ever seems to go according to plan during the Accursed Month.

I know the feeling. You find a way to do it that works, and it works that way because you do it that way.

It might, though I suspect it could also surprise you. Only time will tell. It also depends on what you ask.

That's interesting. I've never encountered anyone who needed help packing before, it was always the Stevedor stuff they needed (not that I am any better at that).

The fact that I cannot tell my colors, have no brush technique and sometimes aren't sure when something is wet certainly doesn't make me a prime candidate to help. Ah well. I am sorry.

I'm hiring professional Stevedors after the last time. I still speak to them all, but holy jeebus, logic was in short supply that day.

It's seriously more a matter of getting my personal possessions into manageable bundles. And last time I asked for help on this one, I had friends who determined that textbooks fit best in the largest box I had. This also made it about as heavy as a box of dark matter.

Stuffed animals = big box
Books = small box

I'll also be big as a house while packing so mostly I'm interested in some sort of human retrieval system.

...and yet I'll bet you lifted that box of dark matter too...

What do you mean by 'human retrieval system'? Some mechanism to dragoon passers by into loin-cloth clad, chained together, sweating mass of worker bees reminiscent of a pyramidal construction crew in the times of the Pharoahs? Cuz if so I could always spare some of the neighbors I would otherwise sacrifice for good Ju-Ju...

I'm getting to the point where I definitely prefer being stationary, and generally navigating my apartment is difficult. I can pack, if others retrieve.

Ah...okay. I guess I was just having trouble picturing you as truly immobile.

Oh yeah, tell me about it. Okay, i can see how it might just be better for you to form a sort of central nervous system and let agents put plans into effect.

Wait, I remember helping you pack textbooks, but don't remember saying they had to be in a big box o.O

And you know just like last time I'm willing to help pack/paint for you.

I know I've done that before, but I'm not sure if that was with Kerry's move, or one of mine.

There are certain small boxes at work that are just perfect for books. I've been snagging lots of them, if you want let me know and I'll snag some for you too.

I've got a bunch of boxes in my house right now, so if you want to send Josh over to grab some, just let me know when.

Wouldn't it be better to let Josh type all the Christmas cards?

I don't think people expect you to do it all, and if they do, they're poopy heads.
