I've been too busy as of late to do justice to recent events, so here's a list:

I am now married to zenten. For better or for worse. It took 9 days before I had to take the ring off due to joint swelling courtesy of the sprogling, but it still feels like I'm wearing it. Yes, being married does feel different, surprisingly enough, and I can't explain why.
The ceremony and reception was enjoyable in my opinion. Pictures are still trickling in.
The honeymoon in Montreal was fun. It wasn't Paris, but we promised ourselves we'd do it another time when I'm not requiring assistance to get my socks on.
I started my new job at CBSA as an indeterminant government employee. I like my co-workers pretty well. And I was almost right when I said the people who interviewed me were younger than me. This is promising because it means that I won't be held back due to my age for once.
I'm slowly setting the apartment to rights. It's hard work, but I need to do it while I can still see my toes.
My bellybutton is rapidly disappearing. I don't know how I feel about this.
