I spent the day at my grandma's trailer. It was good. I told my grandparents about their impending great-grandparentdom... and in my grandfather's case he replied to the news with "I have to find a tarp"

I helped him fix the dock, and I found that being pregnant means the cursing and swearing was kept to a nearly non-existant minimum - score! Five hours in a lake and I do say I have had a significant hand in reparing a beautiful dock. I hope my grandma gets some use out of it since it no longer resembles a death trap. I should take up more cinder blocks when I visit next.

There was grilling of meat and good conversation.

(I should note that construction in my family consists of one prime builder, and helpers, whose sole purpose to to be sworn at. Okay, not healthy, but shit gets built.)

(And when I say "repair", it means "fix the item so it looks nothing like what it did before because the last asshat to work on it didn't know what they were doing". Yes, sometimes that asshat was yourself. Deal with it.)

I *thought* that was what that other post meant, but I wasn't sure. I'm so dense. Congratulations! :)

It's no problem. We got to see the image move before it was printed, so what it is, is obvious to us, but i've seen enough ultrasound photos from other people where I've been lost that I don't judge.

And thank you ! It was a surprise, but we're happy.

At least, when you told me, I didn't say 'I have to find a tarp'. :)
