My neighbour's apartment is on fire. By neighbour, I mean the guy down the hall.

I am stuck in my apartment due to the smoke in the hall. The alarm is so damn annoying.

We're going to start dinner now.. you know, the firemen are still here in case anything goes wrong.

I was advised by the fire department to stay put and they have it all under control.

But just in case, I want you all to know what happened.

I admire your calm. Fire (and by extension volcanoes, lava, being burned) is the one thing where I cannot be rational. I must have been burned at the stake or thrown in a volcano as an sacrifice in a past life.

I would so be out of there.
