Bad news?: I'm trying to figure out a delicate way to refer a coworker to snopes.com. 

Good news?: I was invited to join the Coffee Club at work. They told me no when I first started working here. It's a petty thing, but it's a nice thing.

Them: "What?"
You: *enlighten the stupid while smiling beautifully* "Snopes is this wonderful site that [insert basic definition at comprehension level of subject here]."



That generally works for me. :) Coffee clubs are fun. Ours is really informal, nobody gets invited but nobody who is willing to pay $5 a month gets turned down.

The coffee is a social acceptance thing here. Anyone can join the $7/month coffee club, but you have to be invited to the $5/month one.

And in this case, it is my coworkers absolute inability to discern urban legend from reality.
