Stayed a little longer at the satellite office than intended.
Didn't monitor beer intake very well.
My head remains wobbly.
I went to work anyway
My boss came out to me today under awful circumstances
It came up when he dropped by to tell me he would't be in to work for a bit. He told me he and his partner were in a car accident and his partner's face has been shattered from the airbag deployment. He's undergoing facial reconstruction surgery as I write. He's asked to look like Brad Pitt when they're done.
Sounds like his partner is a smartass too.

Your boss was uninjured in the same vehicle? Sounds like his partner wasn't wearing a seatbelt, or there was a serious design or production flaw in the airbag.
I do hope that they can put him back together okay!

His partner was driving and decided to try and pass a slow-moving tractor. He was halfway past the tractor when he saw an oncoming vehicle and decided to brake and drop back behind the tractor. This would have worked fine, except the tractor braked too, so he couldn't drop back far enough, and the driver's side took almost all the damage from the head-on collision.

Seeing as how I'm not too tall myself, this isn't exactly reassuring for me.

What I'm trying to say is that facial reconstruction can be very successful and it's not exactly major surgery. Good luck to him!

And hell, with his face broken, he's barely noticing he other sprains, bumps, scrapes and bruises.
