*blink* You are doing a CBC job at the moment? If you have two c's then you will only be tested on the writing (And you already got enough for that before).
Just remember what the structure of the test is (you can find it on the website), and when you know that, you'll probably breeze through it.
If I'd thought to look up what the writing test actually entailed (I thought it would be more involved stuff rather than little eensy nitpicky details), I'd probably have gotten a B or at least an A. It's dumb that they test the little nitpicky details, rather than your actual ability to get a point across, regardless of whether it is completely proper or not.
I know back in August our supervisor didn't get extended, because apparently he wasn't bilingual, which is complete BS, since he was a francophone who had absolutely no trouble communicating with our predominantly anglophone team.
Well, oral tests your ability to get your point across, if you can't answer their question, talk about something else.
I think there is some validity to the 'nitpicky" parts. I like my boss, he's great, I understand him. His e-mails are awful. This can be a huge problem when you think about it. However, since I'm the one that deals with the public, and not him, my head is fall more likely to roll if someone complains.

I figure this means that they are impressed enough to want to see if you or I meet the crunchy requirements, which is a good sign.
