I'm cranky.

As a result, I've already sent a letter to the University administration criticizing their choice of students for a media campaign seeing as one of them had a restraining order from certain areas of campus for committing acts of violence and intimidation, primarily against women.

I have also wrote a sternly worded letter to the University Financial Aid office for failing to recognize me as a disabled person despite having a MEDICAL CERTIFICATE. I don't f*cking care if the desk attendant didn't think so, my DOCTOR does (not to mention the government).

Maybe next I should write the Dean of Social Science about the joke they call Economics.

No wonder my blood pressure has shot up 20 points in the last month.

I should start handing out Asshat Awards, to organizations who go out of their way to be ignorant fuckers.

He's a she this time, and apparently more reliable.

I told Josh if she doesn't show, I'm going to start charging his friends for reservations.

See.. when you visit the financial aid office, you need to drool on their desk a little more, spasmodically twitch, and try to bite your left ear.

Then you need to present them with your certificate.

Then after it's accepting, stop pretending, call them a jackass and walk out, after beating them with your cane.

Y'see, the problem is that you expect Carleton to behave as if it were a rational, logical, caring human being. I have, in my own experience, rarely seen it display any of these things, with the medical centre being an exception. Individual staff members may be fine, but the University seems to consider students (and faculty) to be cash cows meant to be milked dry and discarded when no longer useful.

This is the U of O, and it's not any better by my reckoning
