The is NO WAY that as a full-time student in 2004 that I could possibly OWE THE GOVERNMENT MONEY!

I didn't pay taxes for the most part, which is why I only got like $200 back, but I still did some jobs which did take off taxes.

The idea of owing them $500 when my income was under $17,000 is just inconceivable to me though.

Draco always gets dinged at tax time (thanks to Carleton) but I get money back even though I work full time and he is a full time student. It is a bit stupid. His problems all stem from Carleton's idiotic policies involving pay.

Are you implying that the SFUO's fiducuary responsibilities as employers are sub-par? *snickers*

Wherever might you have developed such a cynical view me wonders???

MMM Maybe the time I took them to the labour board over $48 they owed me. I wrote $48 as the amount sought.

By the time the labour board was done, due to some discrepancies and inabilities of the accounting office to actually explain how much they were paying me, when and why, the payout was $638.

I'm just sayin'

...did you remember the ~$8000 federal and provincial base amounts when calculating your credits? I blipped over the federal one, and I thought I was gonna cry until I noticed my mistake.

That said, I'm pretty sure I earned less and owed more. I can check if you like.
