Tonight I designed something... 

It was kind of a bit of a pain since I got switched off of photoshop like 6 years ago, but I'm kind of proud of myself for still managing to pull it together.

I have been principally involved in designing about 80% of the regional event tickets in the past so decided to let someone else step up and show their mad design skillz. Must admit, like what I'm seeing. The sexy firey vixen might not have been my approach.

I get to design a lot of stuff in my jobs, but it's never stuff I want to fuck around with (boo style guides). This gives me an excuse to screw around with new tools and styles, so even if it doesn't get picked, it was still fun.

Looks great; only suggestion I'd make is to put the year as well as the dates.

Why? Cuz they're *souvenirs* of the event, and when we're all dementia-ridden in our forties (heh) we may need reminders of the year we attended HellaBurnin'...

I was tossing around the idea of repeating the year next to the dates anyhow. This confirms it indeed is a good idea.
