It has that feel of either Schizophrenic ramblings or a Babelfish translator, and I can't tell which.

Maybe he's onto something, but for now I will feel comfortable in the safety of my own reality.

John was just making a legitimate effort to hurt my brain AND find support for some of the theories my brother believes like "Academia has enslaved you
as a Word Animal - kneel, you educated stupid jackass."

(My brother believes that I am just a tool of the propaganda machine because I went to University.)

is he bitter about something he didn't have the courage to try for? (your brother, I mean, not john)

Umm I'm not sure. I know he wanted to go to University, and then college, but he never got his junk together. In the interim he met some uneducated people who speak well and believes most of what they tell him. Add the fact that he drinks a lot, did a lot of drugs (he's cut back), and hangs out with 16 year olds (he's 23, making him that creepy older guy) and you have a brain ripe for misinformation. I mean, he and his buddies share needles to give each other "pirate tattoos" (and while I do see a certain amount of humour in the fact that my brother tattooed an 8 inch high "BK" into his friend's back, maybe that still isn't the smart way to go).

As John put it "He's special, in the olympic kind of way".

P.S. BK = Big Kyle

I got sick of it after the first 1/4 of the first page, but I would have to say that you may be right about either the schizophrenic ranting or babelfish translation, not sure which one.
