It's finally happened as predicted. The toys are back. Apparently our generation is far more attached to the toys of our childhood, since it's all coming back.
I was in the Rideau Centre and say HMV playing THUNDERCATS!!! On of my favouritist cartoons from when I was a child. With Cheetara and Panthro and Snarf and and and... WHY DO YOU HAVE TO BE $60 FOR 6 EPISODES???
*sigh*
Today I had a run in with Mrs. Tiggy Winkles. They are selling toys that I still have from my childhood. They never had cartoons or anything, but everyone goes "I had one of those as I kid, or how do I miss it". I just thought it was a random toy I had, but no, apparently everyone had one and now they want it again.
They also have barbapapa.
*sigh*
Oh how I find such great entertainment from you, oh cartoons and toys.

I so totally know how you feel...
(ahem, however, the THUNDERCATS ended up taking my Robotech cartoons off the time slot and I never saw more than an episode or two...so boo for them...nyah).
