It would take hours and hours to describe it. It is way too complex to sum up in a paragraph or two.
For the closest thing to it that I have found in literature, consult chapters 1 and 2 of Part 3 of Atlas Shrugged (pages 643-747 of my paperback copy).
No, honestly. Its a model for utopia in my mind. Good people working together, not for themselves but what they believe in and for other people. Tolerant, reasonable, willing to listen and willing to speak. Respect given to everyone and just a touch of devotion towards our collective home.
No one is in it for their own material gains. Hell, some of use are pouring our own funds to keep it alive and to make others happier. Charity, not avarice.
My utopia which belongs to me and would be shared with those willing to partake of it for as long as they wished would be a world of encouragement, a world of struggle, trauma, recognition and support. It would be a place where everyone was recognized for their strengths and afforded the credit where credit was due while challenging their weaknesses so that they would be in a continous state of growth. The growth wouldn't have to be huge in each step but it must be something where the individual would at the end of the day be able to say "Yes. Today was a day of development" and a person would have as much time as was needed so that eventually, once all external and internal barriers have been broken down, even the impossible would be attainable. My utopia would have friends hazing each other and harrying those they are familiar with but always they would have each other's back or know well enough to leave alone when absolutely necessary. My utopia would have sweat, smiles, ice tea and toasted tomato sandwiches. This utopia would have no use for fabricated distinctions of it's people or the world around it. These things are as delicate as rice paper and would be destroyed just as casually. And there would be no country music in it (or at least where I sleep) And I would sit with my mother again and talk for hours and learn.
I have different Utopias/Dystopias I have I have mind that I rather be in...but the Utopias are not really Utopias thought, as it would be boring if nothing interesting it happening, if there is nothing to fight for, no risks, and so on.
One I like is ending up commanding this huge Titan ship called the Impossible with the ability to take out Stars and mess up the universe a bit in its corner of it.
Another is this never ending futuristic war with the sides being more clearly define and simple, to a point people are fighting just for the sake of fighting as they do not know anything else....basicly, I have different versions of this like the Matrix, Terminator verse after judgement day, Fallout, Deadlands, Firefly, and so on.
Oh and a world where I was provided the right body! :p
Amazon society, well one that I vision is a mixture of the descriptions of the one in Diablo 2 and descriptions in the real life myths and such minus the breast removal which I do not think it is fact.
A BDSM island like Exit of Eden, but more modernly realistic and not just a place for people to visit, but to also live at and stay, forming its own society.
I think being a Drow or half-one would be interesting...with its society and all.
Sid Meiur's Alpha Centauri, living on Chiron with all the clear cut factions and their ideologies...I like the Data Angels, Gaians and Spartans myself.
In a place like Vancouver that is always cloudy and gloomy with the occasional rain...Gotham works too.
Guera from This Alien Shore has my love right now. I would dearly love to have social interaction which respects mental and personality differences and accommodates them.
Other than that... I like oninofro's utopia. I'll take a slice of that too please.
I wouldn't even know where to begin. Right now in my life I'm not looking outside the box. But that's just me learning to accept the changes in my life that I wasn't prepared for. So I guess at the moment.. I have no vision of utopia.

And I'd have Demeter in my arms again.
Someday I'll paint my utopia on my walls... I have to wait 'til I get my own home...
