I got to head out to see Corteo this weekend with my mom. It's the newest Cirque du Soleil creation. In any case it was really neat and was basically a story about a funeral for a clown. It was crazy neat, and I got an umbrella. While down in Montreal, we grabbed dinner at Le Papillon, which was very nice. The Maitre D'hote took our coats at the door and we ended up seated near the door. My favourite line from him was "If you get cold, here is the wine list".
Dinner was great and we pretty much headed home after grabbing some Maple Candy.

In other news, while my mom was having me do her taxes, she informed me she has MS (Multiple Sclerosis). Yay

My dad and an old good friends-mom has it.

If your mom can afford it, that is - has big benefits - then there are some drugs that really really slow it down. The difference between my dad and the others I've met/heard of from my dad in the MS circle, is huge.

One good thing: You're mom should be around for a long time, even without much help.

*swoon* Maple candy...

Sorry to hear about your mom; let me know if there's anything I can do?

I appreciate your thoughts, but I should be alright. I've been living with two auto-immune diseases, so I guess I know that she'll be alright because while things get difficult, I'm still kicking around, right?
