Ok, lets suppose I post something in semagic, the client I tend to use in windows. If livejournal throws up an error, my message isn't gone, but is instead just sitting there, to let me hit the post button again. Plus it allows saving drafts, and all sorts of other coolness.

I don't understand client

It's a program that makes posting on livejournal much easier, and a replacement for using the webpage to post for livejournal.

It's also the recomended way of making livejournal posts from the people who run livejournal.
