Day of the Triffids... Ahhh.. that was an awesome book.. some people in my class hated it... (and our english teacher fopped on the promise to show us the 70's movie version)
but it is.. I have to admit, one of the better early science fiction thrillers.
Hell.. I still make references to it to this day... (can you say fear of the aurora borealis?)
