I have a new bellydancing teacher. This bothers me. I liked my old one. I guess I'm stuck with her for 3 months though and then I'll hunt down Vera again.

I liked Vera.

where do you take your lessons? I took a few beginners classes a while backwith Ottawa Dance Studios and loved it... I'd like to get back into it providing it can work with my irradic work schedule that will start up once Convergys gets rolling.

I do need to find a cool jiggly belt somewhere though

bellydancing sounds quite interesting *grin*

where do you take your courses and how much does it cost to take these classes?

I take them through the City of Ottawa, and I think it works out to be $60 for 10 weeks. It`s fun, but it`s also hard work.

That's a pretty good price actually!

Hard work? ... I didn't realize bellydancing was THAT sophisticated!

It is really hard, it's good for the arms, legs, back, stomach and chest muscles (did I miss any?).

I'll show you a little bit next time I see you, but it really is an intensive dance, and the trick is making it look easy and sexy while you work your ass off!

I need to reduce my stomach. I hate it (nothing to do with self-image, but a phobia of mine). Will bellydancing work that way?

Can't wait to see :) ... I love bellydancing's relation to the Egyptians *grin*
