(no subject)

zenten and I decided to pay poor tax a couple of weeks ago for kicks. On two $3 scratch tickets, I thought we had won $3 and $5, but it turned out today it was actually $20 and $9. So we bought a ticket in tonight's lottery, and while we didn't win the $43 million, we did double our money.

This is how problem gambling starts, I'm sure.

That reminds me, I have a $2 win (essentially free ticket) on a scratch ticket I need to claim...

*chuckle* Possibly so... I've told people before that the worst thing that can happen to you the first time you got to the casino is to win. Self-awareness is a good first line of defense, though.
