I am so very done with being pregnant

That being said, unsolicited advice for how to induce labour is not welcome. My doctor says we're both fine, I don't need to be screwing about with chemicals.

Maybe the baby is obsessed with being on schedule, and has already inherited his mom's managerial tendencies? ;)

I'm just not convinced he's done in there. Everything indicates he's doing well, and my body definitely feels like it's getting closer, but seriously, wouldn't you rather the baby position himself at a casual pace, rather than taking some herbal remedy and spending the next 40 hours in hard labour?

I definitely agree. As long as there is no indication he's having trouble, letting him move at his own pace seems best. The poor thing is going to be in for enough of a shock when he finds out how cold and dry it is out here. ;)

Every day he doesn't come is one less day of diaper changing and all night screaming.

Just trying to look on the bright side. Little one will be here to be cuddled very soon.
