This year proved to be quite the year for me (and [personal profile] zenten as well):
  • Landed a good-paying job
  • Bought a car
  • Got pregnant
  • Got married
  • Landed a better and more permanent job
  • Signed a lease on a townhome
  • Paid down a significant chunk of debt... impressive in my mind as there was a wedding and a car on the tab. Still more work to be done on this in the new year.

2008 will also be exciting as I
  • Give birth
  • Move into aforementioned townhome
  • Finish paying off my OSAP
  • Focus on the domestic aspects of life and use the time to enhance my general wellness to see if I can stay medication-free
  • Field the curveballs that life likes to throw

Crazy. Love-life!

I saw him walking down the street a couple times in the summer when I was driving by - think he still works with a some people I know.

Last time I saw you two together, you certainly were not a couple! Good job on the debt.

Oh. Maybe not. I guess I was just seeing you walking home? It would be down Heron, possibly Walkley. Thought you were still at Convergys.

Nope, left there in 2006.

Smart move!

Impatica is just up the street on Don Reid, and we live down on Baycrest, so that quite possibly would have been him.

Yeah, I guess when I last saw you, Josh and I had *just* started dating and that feels like forever ago! It's kind of scary to think we're now all legitimate and starting a family.

Debt is a scary, scary thing. I'm working to cancel a lot of my credit, because I stopped and counted it up, and I actually have credit available to me that is worth 150% of my annual salary – and that is so dangerous and wrong. It's also necessary if we want to buy a house for the next move (2-3 years).
