Attention co-workers:

While I may not always agree with the dictionary and/or grammar check in Microsoft Word, it is advisable when confronted with an underlined word to maybe consult a dictionary to confirm that you are indeed correct, and not just making stuff up, because in most cases you are just making stuff up.

Your compliance is appreciated.

What word(s) did they make up?

It's part typos, part word creation. It wouldn't bug me if they didn't show up in every document.

Pet peeves include: vette, thos, implementability, manger (manager), and metricses.

Vette? What the heck is that for, veto, vet?

I think you should change "metricses" for "mistresses" as a rule just to annoy them ... then claim "What? It's not what you meant?"

Vette instead of "vet" (vet a document)

Metricses, you know, singular Metrics, plural Metricses...

They do enough on their own to make all the meanings dodgy. They should know by now there is no manger approval outside Christmas.
