Today I had an obstetrical appointment at the High Risk Unit.  It turns out I'll be getting an ultrasound every two weeks.

During today's ultrasound, it became apparent that my uterine wall doubles as a trampoline. If the sprogling remains that active, I'm going to have some problems playing keep-up.

So here is the latest picture of my baby, possibly sucking its thumb. Or waving. I'm happy it has fingers. And a nose.

He (or she) looks like he's smiling. I hope everything goes well.

I know... but the biologist in me thinks it's just how the jaw structure looks (like why skeletons look like they're smiling too)
