Good on ya, mate!
Does this mean no more OC Transpo hellaciousness to work and back?

Oh believe me, the thought was on my mind earlier this week.

The good news is, apparently guys think my car is awesome. I got checked out more than once driving it today.

That's because the car IS awesome. I'm excited to attract envious eyes :D

I'll still take it to work, because I work downtown, but it means I can visit people and even go out at night without waiting for hellish transit schedules.

I can't wait to really get some good use out of it... though I did clock 80km today.

At first I was gonna say 'great, now you don't have to deal with the bullshit of taking the bus to work - especially in winter" but then I saw you will still. Guess I don't blame you. Parking is nuts downtown.

It does mean that if her job moves somewhere else (she seems to change jobs at least once every 6 months) that has both parking and a pain in the ass bus route from here to there, then she can drive.

6 months? Man your math is bad. Try 4. lol

I'm trying to extend my work durations to make it look like I'm reliable or some junk.

Please tell me you didn't buy a mini-van in a moment of pregnancy induced insanity?

lol I actually started the car buying process like 9 weeks ago. It's classified as a truck, which means I'll never have to worry about failing emissions testing, because it has a car engine. Mostly I just wanted something to throw the husband and dog in with the camping equipment. I'm just lucky there's room for a baby in it (which there wasn't in the cars zenten was checking out).

I got this, in that colour:
