I installed the babygate successfully, however James thinks it is the most awful thing in the world, as it prevents him from getting where he wants to go. If I thought he moved quickly when heading for the dog, you should see him heading for an open babygate.. holy crap.
To quickly summarize the last few days
Turkey Dinner with Josh's Nana and associated family. Brisket was also had as a side dish. mmm.
Chicken Lunch with Josh's Bestemor and associated family.
Turkey Dinner with my family.
James ate all of the above.
My best friend's birthday party was on Sunday and consisted of riding around in a party limo blaring Iron Maiden, hanging out the roof on the 401 with beverage in hand, drinking at a Mr. Sub (it had a licquor license!), and taking over a bar/restaurant to finish out the night. It was very awesome. My parents were excellent babysitters and we got home just as James was finishing his morning nap. I even got 3 hours of sleep before driving back to Ottawa.

gabriel_le was so kind as to entertain James Tuesday while I assisted at an election poll. I realizd how much I missed him by the end of the day, and I was glad zenten came by to visit with him. I think I'm ready to head back to work. I love my baby, but I think I appreciate him more when I'm not with him every moment of the day.
