Was going to go to Montreal, but I had massive amounts of pain in my eye and it turns out today's medical condition is Acute Iritis!
I now have drops, and one of my pupils is completely dilated.
The anaesthetic drops have made my eye hurt much less, but I still don't feel totally safe to drive yet. In fact, I'm glad I can touch type, because I certainly can't see my keyboard properly.
zenten has probably had more driving practice today than he has in the last 6 months, but unfortunately, he's not allowed to drive to Montrreal.
Many people in the hospital thought James was a remarkable baby and we both had a nap in the eye exam chair (which made the wait to see a doctor seem totally reasonable).
