Definitely a most excellent day.

We popped out to the Wine Station to make some fruit wines with greensleeves_ with James in tow. Hopefully in a month we will have some Green Apple Riesling and Blueberry Pinot Noir to consume.  zenten also discovered they sell beer-making kits, so once we get settled in a bit more, we're going to have a still beer-making thing in our basement.

Then this afternoon we popped over to see parisbaby_2003 and furious_g, and we were later joined by okcismelanie and firedolljamie, much food and laughs were had. James was the source of amusement at times. I do have to say the hot tub was divine. I do need to find more things to talk about than James, but frankly, what does my life consist primarily of right now.... hmmm.... yeah.

Pebbles responded to our extended absence by running parkour around the house. Maybe she's just cheesed about her full-body shave. Or the t-shirt that reads "Pedigree Princess" in pink glitter. Meh. I still find it highly amusing to watch my poodle play with dogs 3 times her size wearing that shirt. Definitely taking a trip to the dog park tomorrow to run off some of that energy.

Too many mosquitos at the dog park! I think I may have to find my mosquito jackets. I wouldn't mind so much if they didn't like biting my joints so much, and I weren't so damn reactive to them.

I finally got around to checking the tire pressure on my car. I probably should have done it earlier since the winter and the monster potholes. Yes, I drove all winter using my all-season tires. I also had summer washer fluid in all winter. I lived. We also went through the car wash. James slept. Pebbles is still not amused by it. Driving with a poodle on your lap and a cup of coffee in your hand is generally ill-advised, but can be done (I didn't leave the parking lot until she got back in the back seat).

Boursin cheese is yummy. We tried the shallot and chive today, and I think I'm in love. Sorry zenten.

I'm still feeling under the weather, but I managed to unpack 3 more boxes today. We really need more bookshelves. Or fewer books, but I think the second option is really close to blaspheming.
