Today I spoke to 70 people at a conference. It felt good. I do need to get over that part where I'm nervous until either the audience laughs or someone asks a good question.

Two meals, an honourarium, a scarf, a bag, and frequent praise from people who needed to hear my words is a pretty decent day...

now to chug Buckley's and try to ditch this earache
