Yesterday's family activity: See National Treasure
Today's family activity: Retrieve brother from police station

It was only a matter of time really. My mom and I went to the zoo for the Treats walk, where they feed the animals large hunks of meat and stuff. We came home to find out someone needs to get my brother from the police station. I mean, we did invite him to come along with us and apparently this would have been better for him. We were supposed to go to my Grandmother's, but it's snowing too much. It shall be a long day, maybe I'll sneak out with some of the money I got and pick up some stuff.

And the yelling begins
This is the reason I hate coming here
without fail there is yelling
for something stupid
like "I don't care how to use the tv since I'm not the one who was watching it"
and then yelling
and my mom and brother are yelling
and they refuse to respect my right to not engage in this emotionally abusive process
I try to leave, but I'm not allowed
I'm 23 and a prisoner in my parent's house.

I'll have to think long and hard about coming back for more than 2 days at a time.
