Yeah, they fixed the elevator sometime between midnight and 3am.

Umm.. I'm driving there and back, it's just we had hoped to see friends and family.

Glad you don't have to hump up and down those stairs...yuck.

A year's steady work's nothing to sneeze at. Life has pretty weird timing though, doesn't it?

I think I'm still going to take zenten to see the ocean... maybe jump in it.

A year's steady work that will probably allow me to be able to afford a car in 6 months is definitely nothing to cough at.

And now I remember what you wanted him for... we have time at the beginnig of the trip, just not at the end... and heck, I can always throw him out and come back for him.

I guess the opportunity is almost by definition a good thing... even if there turns out to be a better one, having the option, and the approbation, is nice, I would think.
