NewsFlash

Only because I read this story several times a year...

When your dog, usually a Labrador Retriever, falls in the water, don't go in to rescue it. Inevitably you will drown and your dog will swim safely to shore and then think "Where did Bob go?"

R. was one of the divers in the search and rescue and he says the same thing as you when he was telling me about it last night.
Also said the guy didn't have a chance. Most people don't last 4 minutes in that situation and it was 30 before help could be found.

That story is almost funny when you put it that way, though I feel guilty for seeing the humour in it. :/

Dogs really should try and take better care of thier humans.

It is, but people have to remember that in most cases, your dog has much better chances of getting out of a river alive.
