Did anyone else just have an earthquake-like experience, or do I have some issues to take up with my neighbours?

According to the last five posts in Ottawa-related communities, you're not alone. Though I didn't feel anything.

Well, I'm on the 6th floor of an apartment... it kind of magnifies the further up you go.

And yes, there was an earthquake.

(aren't you supposed to have heightened senses or some junk?)

I'm on the 4th floor... and I didn't feel a single thing.

Nope, I don't have heightened senses, though some people suspect that my vision is really strong.

It would still be fun to pin it on your neighbors though... :P

I felt it,,and it scared the crap out of me because I'm in a 20 story building,,rumbling is not good...

I must say that the Boston was not a happy puppy. His CHI was definitely....altered.

What was that anyway? Damn near spilt a perfectly good Hoegaarden on my laptop...and I'll be damned if I have to start that paper over again!

Thank you, I wasn't able to find anything before... I know I didn't post it, but I was putting it over 3.5 (based on previous earthquakes) and in the east end (more shaking in Orleans, more rumbling in Kanata).

We thought it was an unbalanced load in the washing machine outside our apartment, but it wasn't that, so we just chalked it up as something weird the neighbours were doing, it stopped after a few seconds, not a problem. "Earthquake" didn't occur to either of us until we saw the people saying "Was that an earthquake?" on here.

I mean, the ones we get here are pretty minor (almost always under 5), I just like to know why I am being bounced around and rolling away from my keyboard.
