First off, watch this Heineken commercial... you know it's true.

Second, as some of you may know, there was a shooting down the street from where I live, and on the way to the gym this morning I heard some guys talking about it and in detail. Honestly, the newspapers don't seem to have anything beyond "A 22 year old man was shot on Baycrest around 3am and it may be connected to shots fired in the Byward Market. 2 bullets were recovered on York St." These guys were talking about people who were there and what happened in detail including number of shots fired and how many hit the victim. I guess the question is, should I call the cops to relay this stuff even though it's gossip/hearsay?

I should get back to cleaning.

Call and let them know what you heard. They obviously have pertinent details that are damn near fist hand.

You should let them know, although chances are the police know and just havn't told the press.

I called the police, probably not much help. A little concerned about what the police told me...

They're pretty sure a Tec-9 was used in the incident. Also that there's been a number of incidents up here lately.

I'd say I am surprised but I'm not. I think that is the scary part.
