James ran around, and explored, and enjoyed things. I really hate having to switch care providers - the first switch being inevitable ;p, the second switch being necessary.
There are just things I'm not prepared to do to make the situation right where he is now. I do not believe "boys will be boys" is free license to let them make messes, not clean them up, and throw things. I also don't dig telling James things like "You can't play with the TV - you'll break it". Maybe "You can't play with the TV - it's not a toy". Even yesterday James went to pet Rhys' head and his mom stopped James saying "James, we don't hit". I said "I realize Rhys is a little boy, but James was petting him, and showing affection." to which she replied "Yeah, but that's how hitting starts" WTF?
The daycare, however, will teach James how to put things away (in an age appropriate context), reinforce good boundaries, and hopefully will correct some of these not cool things.
