I kicked ass in work bowling yesterday. They have to tally it up, but they're pretty sure I took high score with a 142. Not bad for bowling while chasing James and holding a beer. Holding beer and a baby is tricky I tell you. James had fun and not because of the beer.
Why are there Drama Llamas? I have 3 in my life right now and it's causing me stress I don't need.
One of them is at work and she does things which I consider unforgiveable in a team environment. Just because it's a team effort, does not mean that you get to claim the credit. I have to speak with my Manager... still trying to figure out which items to actually raise with her. The Work Llama is bad news.
We also need new childcare....anyone have a lead? The Daycare Llama, also bad news. I'm really hoping her doctor sets her straight next week. I normally don't get involved in other people's parenting, but her son's ribs are sticking out and he's 11 months old. He eats well, but she refuses his bottles, and will make him wait 90 minutes for dinner when he's already hungry and he doesn't have another mommy to argue with her about why she needs to feed him more.
And finally, the Home Llama. Josh had hired him to shovel our driveway... and then the letters through the mailbox started. I paid him and told him never to contact us again and still another letter. He felt compelled to write what he thought about our house. That pisses me off. Yes, the house is not cleaned to my liking, but with a baby and two parents working full time, it's tricky. I'm not going to give up my evenings to clean my foyer because some douchebag neighbour likes tresspassing and looking in the window. I hung curtains down there last night. He also criticized how cluttered my garage was. The garage full of my dead grandmother's things that I haven't had a chance to sort because I'm busy being a parent and it's been so cold? Don't fucking judge people. I'm not perfect, and neither is anyone else. We hope he stops his letter writing campaign, but we're going to be calling the cops next time, because he obviously has refused to respect our wishes, and I don't want this to escalate considering he knows where we live. The kicker was he signed the last letter "The best fucking neighbour you had". WTF? Whatever.
