They've delayed the notification date of the competition to "sometime in January"
When we get together we are the Queens of half-assed planning. Hell, two years ago she gave me 6 hours notice that I needed to get my ass on a train to get to Toronto because we were going to Michigan, and she refused to tell me why. I went. It was nervewracking, but I made it, because I trust her to keep me alive.
I assume she is currently somewhere in or around Ottawa. I say assume, because she told me she was coming Wednesday, and I haven't heard from her since.
She'll turn up in the next 3 hours or so, but how I stayed friends with her for so long with her "just do it" attitude, and my "let's plan as much as we can" desire, is an absolute mystery.
EDIT: Found her. Her ETA is delayed by 4 hours... which is coincidentally they number of hours it takes to drive from Toronto... as in she is leaving late.
