So we've decided to teach James everything while he's still impressionable. Yesterday's lesson was IKEA.

James walked the entire length of IKEA in 2 hours. That included a lunch break, and the many, many, many sidetrips to loop around display rooms and through display shelves. He did take one shortcut, but he found it himself, and then after lunch we resumed the original pathway. He even attempted to escape at the end without his coat, adeptly dodging the arms of parents and strangers alike to make a break for the exit, only to be met with a blast of cold air, which encouraged him to change his mind and reverse course.

We bought storage things and more lighting for the livingroom. The storage was mostly for his incredible toy wealth.

Also, my gratitude goes out to the cashier at the IKEA restaurant. My card wasn't signed, and so he couldn't accept it, and my other means of payment were in the car (the signatures rub of my cards a lot), and so he told me to sit down, have breakfast, and then go out to my car and get them when I was done. Wait? What? *blink* It actually took me a minute to process his instructions. And that's what we did, and it was all happy. I thanked him lots.

The IKEA rampage was a success, and now to carry on organizing.
